Why do I need a video if I have a photographer?

In a recent survey of brides married in 2002 conducted by WEVA international:

Revealed that brides in the planning process of the wedding do not immediately realize the impact of a professionally-produced video. Before the wedding, while brides are making plans, over half (54%) rank video as one of the Top 10 most important bridal services. This number increases to 79% AFTER the wedding. Before the wedding, 23% of brides view video as a Top 5 service. After the wedding, that number climbs to 42%. The value of video becomes greater after the wedding. And, after the wedding, 94% of these brides say they consider professional videography at least a Top 10 service.

As brides look back at their wedding, 95% of brides who utilized a professional videographer feel future brides should consider using a professional videographer.

The survey results reveal professional videography has become very important to today's brides. Its value is comparable to wedding photography, and even more valuable in some respects, according to brides surveyed. Most importantly, the survey showed that brides feel more emphasis needs to be placed on videography in the wedding planning process.

Why digital Video?

Digital video technology allows us to record and edit your event with no loss in quality. It means that you are guaranteed the best possible version of your important moments. Digital editing allows artistic creativity which until recently was only possible in Hollywood type studios.

Can't a family member create a good video of my wedding?

Often times when a family member video tapes your wedding they will get caught up in the joy of the day and something important could get missed. Also, uncle Charlie is probably using a consumer single chip camera with limited low light capabilities. We use 3-chip professional camera equipment excellent under low light conditions plus a range of digital audio technology to capture everything spoken.

I have seen demos where the sound was bad, how do you assure good quality on my video?

We have a professional UHF wireless microphone to be worn by either the groom or officiant. We also have additional wireless microphones if needed. Mini-Disc recorders with lapel microphones are also used as additional sound points around the venue.

Are guests interviewed at the wedding?

If you choose to have us do interviews we are happy to do them. We can either pick the guest willing to be interviewed or you can provide us a list ahead of time of the people you want us to interview.
